Job summary:
Provide quality nursing services within the scope of nursing license and the policies and procedures of the Elizabeth Richardson Center Preschool; under supervision of the Registered Nurse. Provide food services to children within USDA guidelines. Provide childcare in classrooms to relieve classroom staff as needed.
Qualifications:
A current unencumbered CNA license valid in the state of Arkansas. Ability to provide concise, accurate, professional documentation of observations related to injury, illness and medical care/treatment provided. Ability to understand and operate computer systems for documentation purposes. Ability to function independently within the guidelines of nursing policies and procedures under the supervision of the RN. Knowledge of computer systems i.e. Microsoft word and excel applications. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
Education and experience:
- C.N.A license required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years nursing experience working in a medical facility acute or long term pediatric experience preferred; medical or non-medical.
