Job description
Countryside Health Center is hiring a CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.
SIGN ON BONUS: $1,500 for Full-Time CMA!
All new hires must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have a medical or religious accommodation before you start.
Position Summary: Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA administers prescribed drugs and completes other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state law. CMA delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. He/she will function within the standards of practice as accorded by his/her certification. The CMA performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort for patients.
Requirements:
- The Certified Medical Assistant must have successfully completed a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program as well as a state approved 60-hour certified medication program.
- Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
