Job description

We are looking to hire a experienced, multi tasking, tech savy, Certified Medical Assistant to work closely with the doctors and health professionals here at our medical facility. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for handling patient check-ins, taking vital signs and recording them in patients' files, assisting the physicians during appointments and making sure that patients are properly cared for. The Certified Medical Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring the administrative aspects of the office are completed, such as updating insurance information and filing paperwork.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic lab tests.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Perform routine procedures such as blood draws, injections, and wound care.
• Communicate with medical professionals.
• Record medical histories.
• Communicate with patients and their families in a sensitive manner.
• Gather information from patients and report to a doctor or other healthcare professional.
• Provide patients with basic health education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
