At PediaTrust, we are committed to providing our moms with the guidance and support of some of the area’s most experienced lactation consultants. Our busy pediatric group is looking for a passionate lactation consultant to join our growing team on a per diem basis.

With 20 locations across the north and northwest suburbs and 8 lactation office locations, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with families throughout the community and help them achieve their breastfeeding goals. Locations to be covered will be our offices in Hinsdale, Addison and Wheaton as well as the availability to assist in covering other office locations as the need arises.

Position Requirements:

• Current Illinois RN License

• Current IBCLC Certification

• Current CPR Certification

• Maintains professional growth (CERPs) as dictated by International Board standards

Responsibilities include all aspects of lactation management including:

• Comprehensive assessment, education, planning, problem solving for all things related to the breastfeeding mother-infant dyad

• Establishment of a plan of care that is communicated to and coordinated with the pediatrician

• Working closely with the pediatricians, lactation team and office staff to promote a breastfeeding friendly environment and quality newborn care
