We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and professional Customer Service Associate to join our career-oriented team. The job requires someone who is willing to learn and adapt quickly to the company's ever-changing policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to operate cash registers and perform basic math functions, and must also be able to multitask between answering customer inquiries, processing customer credit card transactions, counting inventory and restocking items as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Cash in payments or return change to customers.
• Verify that credit card payments are accurate.
• Provide information to customers, such as store policies and locations of merchandise.
• Handle all cash transactions, including sales of money orders, travelers checks, and credit/debit cards.
• Monitor the checkout lanes to ensure prompt, efficient service for all customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe cashier area.
• Communicate with coworkers about customer transactions and potential problems, such as disputes or thefts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
