Collaborates with the Healthcare Team to promote appropriate hospital utilization of resources, adequate education of patient and medical center staff, and decreased incidence of readmissionsGraduate of an accredited program of professional nursing.
Posses a current RN license from State of Mississippi.
Five years of healthcare experience with strong utilization background 3-5 years experience required.
Must possess current BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and effectively communicate both written and oral form and handle sensitive telephone and face-to-face inquiries
Knowledge of major insurance/Medicare terminology and benefits is beneficial
Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment.
Ability to comply with provisions of applicable M.S.D.S. forms.
