We are looking for a dynamic and versatile individual to become an integral part of our construction team. Our team is a tightknit group of people that manage approximately $30 million worth of construction projects annually in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Texas. Our projects are fast paced, and we rely on each other to complete the work. You will be supported by additional Crew Leads, crew members, Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, a Team of Estimators and Sales staff.These projects range from the placement of New and relocatable modular buildings and classrooms projects. Your job will be to assist with the setting of these modular builds, going over material list, participate in weekly safety meetings, be part of monthly safety committee. The work will sometimes include out of town and overnight stay to perform these tasks.

This job will have the opportunity to work Prevailing wage jobs averaging $60.00 an hour.

- Can Demonstrate ability to instruct and lead the requirements of Crew Level 1, 2 & 3.
- Perform all the duties of crew level 1, 2 & 3 as needed by job site conditions.
- Lead a crew to install modular building, block and level concrete foundation, decks, porches, ramps trusses, sheathing, roofing, and gables.
- Direct the crew to load material and equipment needed for assigned jobs.
- Work directly and communicate with Superintendent.
- Lead assigned crew to follow all company safety requirements. Have a full understating of the company safety program, implement and ensure that all other employees on site follow all safety requirements and are using all appropriate PPE.
- Lead assigned crew to follow all company policies.
- Complete post modular set check list and submit to Superintendent.
- Valid driving license and clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain Boeing work badging and Twix card.
- 5-year experience setting modular building and trailers or equivalent preferred.
- Work effectively with superiors, peers, client and vendors, based on references or 90 day probation.
- Mentor and train effectively those at levels 1, 2, 3 and foreman.
- Participate in onboarding of new employees, based on references or 90-day probation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Completed OSHA 30-hour course.
- Read and understand site and building plans.
- Ability to use laser leveling equipment, building jacks, demolition, and carpenter power tools.
- Proper attire as needed for safety, weather, and job conditions.
- Participate in supervisory/foreman training.
- Effective computer skills, for laptop, iPad, and mobile devices.
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment.
- Physical attributes to lift and carry 50 lbs. multiple time in a day.
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Wear personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work 40 or more hours per week and up to 12 hours per day
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of trades.
- Previous demonstratable manager or supervisor experience overseeing others.
- Experience in commercial construction and full site development – grading, excavation, utility concrete etc.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
