Job description

We are looking for a responsible and creative person to join our team as a Carpenter. Responsibilities include constructing and modifying physical structures, working with tools and completing work as scheduled. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work well on a team, have carpentry experience related to their current field, have the ability to communicate effectively with others and be a skilled problem solver. Preferably an individual with 2-to-3-year experience. Knowledgeable in hanging cabinets and framing walls.

Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to shape wood.
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to build, repair, or remodel houses or other structures.
• Fit replacement windows and doors into openings in walls, using hinges and trimming materials.
• Create accurate designs for buildings, using computer-aided design software and a variety of drafting tools.
• Work with construction materials such as sheetrock, wood, and nails.
• Provide customer service by answering customers' questions about completing projects or ordering building supplies.
• Lay out projects in accordance with plans or drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
