BrightStar Care of Dublin is currently looking for passionate Caregivers who are able to provide consistent care for our clients located in San Jose for overnight shifts each weekend. This is a wonderful family who you will absolutely adore. This opportunity is best for experienced Caregivers who are looking for extra hours and income. However, training and ongoing support will be provided. We encourage the following individuals to apply: Personal Assistants, CNA's, CNA Students, HHA, HCA, Homecare Aide, Home health Aide experience and those that are looking to make a difference in someone's life.

Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance with daily tasks such as, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, bathing assistance, and running errands
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Availability for Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00PM-6:00AM
• CPR Certification
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray and cleared physical exam
• Valid Driver's License and reliable automobile with proof of insurance for our transportation cases
• Must pass Criminal Background and Drug test
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
