Exciting opportunities await eligible candidates in our state of the art St. Francis Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab Program at Mercy Medical Center. We are seeking Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cath Lab team. The successful candidate will assist Interventional Cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) with the primary responsibility of monitoring hemodynamics utilizing the Philips Xper Hemodynamic System and recording case details. The Cardiovascular technologist will be cross-trained to perform a scrub role to assist physicians during Cardiac Catheterization procedures. On call required.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up the patient for cardiac catheterization and monitoring the patient during the procedure
• Assisting the physician during the exam, and monitor positions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program
• RCVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable.
• BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:
• American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program. American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
• No online programs from any organization will be accepted
