We are currently seeking a full-time, Monday - Friday, Scheduling Coordinator who will be responsible for answering all incoming calls to the office, scheduling, and confirming all new and established patient appointments in our Margate, FL office.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Coordinator is responsible for:
- Must be bilingual and fluent in speaking and writing Spanish.
- Scheduling new patients, return and call-in appointments.
- Answer all incoming calls live.
- Obtaining insurance information and necessary patient demographic data.
- Sending patient registration forms to patient prior to appointment.
- Accurately entering patient demographics into computer system.
- Meet monthly new patient goals and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Inform patients of insurance benefits for fertility and gynecological services.
COVID-19 Vaccination
IVF Florida requires all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment. New hires will be required to furnish proof of full vaccination prior to their start date. There may be alternative for an approved exemption based on bona fide medical or religious grounds.
What You'll Bring:
- Associates degree required and a higher degree preferred
- 2+ years at experience working in a medical office, preferably in a Women’s Health and/or OB/GYN practice.
- Experience in a patient service or customer service environment
- Professional, polite and courteous telephone etiquette
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Computer experience – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Prior customer service training
- Prior customer relationship database experience; experience with SalesForce a plus!
