Provides exceptional service at all member touchpoints including answering all incoming calls and electronic communications. Provides information and member support concerning the credit union and its products and services to members and employees. Through creating member loyalty, you must excel in core contributor relationships by offering share and loan products. Educate and empower members to utilize e-services.

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Post member transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Answer incoming calls within expectations set by management
  • Respond to member requests through different e-channels
  • Handle member research requests, including verification of deposit, check copies and statement copies.
  • Performs advanced research projects for members, courts, the IRS, or any other entity.
  • Complete daily e-branch tasks as assigned by manager
  • Meet or exceed Quarterly e-branch goals
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy of all essential functions

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and adhere to current knowledge of credit union philosophy, credit union services, products and policies
  • Follow standard security programs
  • Attend quarterly employee meetings and department meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Training

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Pass Teller training and MSR training with 80% or better

Required Knowledge and Abilities

  • Credit union products, services and policies
  • Perform minor math calculations
  • Organize time effectively
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with members and the public through phone and e-channels
  • Work independently and efficiently
  • Pay attention to details, be proficient and accurate
  • Be flexible and handle more than one task at a time

  • Standing- 10%

  • Lifting- 7% 5-15 lbs
  • Twisting-3%
  • Driving- 5%*
  • May be required to drive to another branch

Extent of Public Contact

This position works extensively with our members, both internal and external, primarily through the telephone.

Duties performed are in an office environment.
