Roles & Responsibilities
- Set tables.
- Check lunch reservations.
- Count meal donations.
- Help to prepare for meal service.
- Take food temperatures and ensure that all food is at a proper temperature.
- Assist in washing dishes once the meal period is over.
- Assist with any miscellaneous paperwork.
- Greet all guests as they enter the café.
- Able to service as a substitute when the Café Manager is not present for the day.
- Take reservations and call them in, collect money from those who make donations.
- Heat the food for the day and serve lunch and dessert to all seniors and people with disabilities who qualify.
- Follow sanitation procedures.
Physical Demands
- Work in a busy environment, lifting up to 20lbs regularly.
- Push-pull carts with up to 70lbs force.
- Ability to reach in all directions, Stooping, Crouching, Bending, Walking, Twisting.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
