Summary

Checkpoint Systems is looking for an experienced SAP BI/BW developer with experience in BI/BW modeling, development, SAC and PowerApps. Must have experience in BI/BW data modeling, analytical reporting using SAC, Bex and ETL Processes. Good analytical skills to support ongoing enhancements, support and maintain existing production system BI/BW architecture. Must have experience and understanding of Microsoft PowerApps. This person will be the direct line of support for SAP BI/BW system applications and reporting tools to our end users in North America while working with our teams across Checkpoint Systems locations. This is a full-time position with Checkpoint benefits.

Job Duties

• Work in ETL process by extracting data from multiple source systems.
• Works independently to troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
• Suggest and develop alternative solutions to resolve issues.
• Conduct technical assessment of issues/enhancements and develop solutions based on SAP BI/BW standards.
• Gather business requirements, solution design, report development, unit testing and prepare technical documentation.
• Support business teams in unit/cycle testing and change management.
• Support and maintain SAP BI/BW end user roles, report access and SAP security roles.
• Participate in system maintenance, data cleanup and upgrade activities.
• Build new reports or enhance existing analytics using SAC.
• Build custom business apps using Microsoft PowerApps.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or Business Management

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of SAP BI/BW backend design, data modeling and development experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with SAP ECC FI/CO/SD/MM and core modules.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BPC/SAC analytics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PowerApps development.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must understand master data, transactional data and data loads from multiple data sources.
• Must understand process chains, job scheduling, data dependencies and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with complex projects.
• Must understand business reporting in FI/CO/MM/SD modules.
• Understanding of SAP BW security and user roles.
• Production support of existing BI/BW functionality and reporting.
• Understanding of BI/BW system upgrades, unit testing, cut-over steps, and system administration.
• Perform program modifications as needed in data modeling, transformation, and loading.
• BI Dashboards experience and excel macros.
• Experience in Qlik Sense is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools including outlook, teams, excel, word, access & power point.
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
