Scope of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for evaluating organizational business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure.
• Bridges communication between IT and business operations to ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing technical solutions for business problems encompassing business, system, information, security, application and technology architecture.
• Provides experience for legacy and next-generation solutions.
• Assists with data center migration, evaluates the business case and perform technical analysis of required project plans.
• Provides experience/support in cloud deployment, migration and cloud data integration.
• Provides network integration support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with enterprise software development programs in a complex IT ecosystem
• 6+ years of experience in the design, development, and delivery of software systems
• Experience with broad technology including cloud architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytics, machine learning, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, Serverless, CI/CD, management and monitoring, cloud migrations, and IT transformation
• Experience with designing solutions on Cloud platforms ideal, not required, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, Kubernetes, or OpenStack
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
• Experience with Agile methodologies developing software applications using two or more of the following technical stacks: Java EE, Python, NodeJS, Visual Studio 2017+, .NET Core framework
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) patterns and scripting languages
• Knowledge of microservices, web services and WS standards
• Ability to design or architect enterprise portfolios and capabilities with modern tools and technologies including Java, .Net, HTML5, JSON, JQuery, React.js, Ansible, Docker, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, data analytics, hardware, and infrastructure to convert functional and technical requirements into viable business solutions
• Ability to create system design work products such as wireframes, prototypes, systems integration plans, data management plans, system design documents, and deployment and release plans
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to define technical details and write level conversations
• Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
