The Building/Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the facility, by keeping the property clean and in orderly condition on a daily basis, under the direction of Administration.

Major responsibilities are:

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces included sidewalks, building exterior, windows, trash/recycling receptacles, playground, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of shared student spaces, included cafeteria, restrooms, hallways, and gymnasium
• Maintain cleanliness of shared staff spaces, included conference rooms, employee work rooms, etc.
• As assigned, perform cleaning duties in individual classrooms and offices
• Buff/wax floors as needed
• Clean internal and external windows
• Set up and take down for events
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 2 or more years of cleaning/maintenance experience
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision
• Ability to follow detailed written and/or verbal instruction
• Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to make appropriate judgement calls and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Regular, prompt attendance
• HVAC experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,000.00 per year
