Job Description
This position is located in the Administrative Services Division - Grants, Budgets, & Payables Section in Oklahoma City.
Basic Purpose
Position will perform tasks related to Agency budget and funding, including Federal Grant management.

Applicants must submit a resume, transcript and business references to be considered for this position.
Typical Functions
  • Provide funding for the following: Purchase Orders, Requisitions, change orders, travel claims, reimbursements, and Agency New Hires.
  • Assist in compilation of data for use in the Budget Work Program.
  • Prepare financial reports as required.
  • Prepare and submit applications for assigned federal grants utilizing Grants.gov.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial activity on grants.
  • Prepare all required grant reporting.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to agency staff, awarding agencies, and auditors.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly billings for assigned federal grants.
Education and Experience
Level I - bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, economics, accounting, or finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in one of the above areas.
Level II - bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, economics, accounting, or finance plus one year of experience in professional budget administration or fiscal analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in one of the above areas.
Preference
Preferences include proficiency with MS Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access and familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 15 pounds and sit for an extended period.
Travel Requirements
Travel may be required infrequently for training.
