PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Fabricate boxes from corrugated cardboard materials.

This is for a 3rd shift position: 9:00p - 5:30a

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Pull cardboard blanks from the pallet and place them on the box table.
• Assemble cartons for finished flooring by folding pre-cut corrugated cardboard stock and inserting tables into pro-cut slots.
• Supply nesting line with enough folded cartons to maintain production pace.
• Monitor the temperature at the high mass oven, notifying the supervisor or lead grader of any abnormal temperature readings.
• Monitor the strain operation product flow during color checks, notifying the stain operator of any problems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with few concrete variables in standardized situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
