Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job description
SALLYZ CENTER FOR AUTISM has an excitin opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) who is motivated, experienced, loves to collaborate and has good work ethics to join our team. BCBAs will be working with families primarily in our Center in South Windsor.

Required Education, Certification, and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or other related fields.
- BCBA certificate in good standing
- CT BCBA License
At least one year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum disorder and their families.
Position Qualifications:
- Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in good standing
- Must obtain Connecticut Behavior Analyst license prior to the start date
- Must have a thorough knowledge of and experience working with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Willing to learn as you grow in the field.
- Strong assessment and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while also working independently
- Desire to collaborate with team members
- Solid communication and people skills
- Solid technology skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass state and federal background check
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor treatment progress with each client
- Assist with team member training, mentoring, and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Collaborate and communicate with the client’s family, caregivers, and other service providers as appropriate
- Provide direct services to clients and their families as needed
- Meet with clinical staff regularly to review progress
- Document progress notes, reports, and other updates on a routine basis.
- Attend regularly scheduled clinical meetings.
- Adhere to ethical standards in BACB code of ethics.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
