Excel Prep is a day school for K-3 grad students who are neurodiverse such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language challenges, executive functioning challenges, and autism. Our mission is to provide a nurturing academic setting with concentrated focus on I’m providing cognitive-linguistic abilities. We center direct instruction, instructional design, and precision teaching as hallmarks of our instruction. We believe that instruction is data driven and founded in education research.
Through our instructional program, students receive daily reading, writing, math, and speech-language blocks. At Excel Prep, we believe that students with specific learning challenges will benefit from smaller group and explicit instruction.
BCBAs will provide direct and collaborative consultative intervention during the school day. The expectation is that the BCBA will provide content focused interventions, collaborate with teachers and SLP staff, as well as provide supervision to paraprofessional staff.
Data collection, analysis, monitoring, and development of academic skill (behavior) change procedures through deliverables of written plans and technological summaries are critical for learning. When needed, the BCBA will conduct functional assessments and/or analysis and develop behavior intervention plans. The BCBA will always will work collaboratively with staff in the assessment process, especially in the development of social skills communication intervention plans.
With staff, BCBAs prepare IEPs, review and analyze student learning progress. BCBAs will receive training in instructional design, direct instruction, and precision data collection methods. Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Education, Special Education, Speech Language Pathology, Applied Behavior Analysis
Ability to manage difficult situations and maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of education law and current practices in education
LBS1 certification preferred
Salary and Benefits

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
