Role Responsibilities
The BIM Specialist is an important part of the estimating and project management teams. This position will generate and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects to support decision-making regarding constructability and other forms of project management.

Key Results Areas
Working from our Stillwater, MN office, the BIM Specialist will be assigned large scale, commercial projects based across the nation. The BIM Specialist will three-dimensionally model and detail projects related to drywall, metal framing, metal deck, and other specialty construction trades.

Accountability
You will help model, coordinate, and pre-plan activities associated with projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budgeting parameters. You will maintain open communication lines with all working relationships, follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are being received and understood, and earn and maintain customer’s trust. All while upholding the core values of the organization and working to accomplish the mission of the organization on every job.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of construction documents, be detail oriented, and have familiarity with the BIM environment.
• Beginner to Intermediate proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• The candidate should have a degree and/or experience in a construction-related industry, such as BIM/VDC, construction management, or architectural technology.
