POSITION SUMMARY

The BIM Coordinator will assist in the development of projects using various technology platforms and applications and be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are consistently met throughout the life of the project(s). This position will work closely with project team(s) during the design and construction and will perform clash detection and clash resolution, building mechanical systems modeling, coordination, scheduling, and logistic reviews. This position will help implement procedures in BIM Execution Plans, develop strategies, and provide integrated solutions. Must be customer- focused, capable of effective collaboration, communication, and must manage deadlines by prioritizing assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks
• Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
• Manage and update BIM Project Documents
• Coordinate with project managers and customers
• Manage internal and external modelers and team members
• Responsible for the overall management of the BIM / VDC Team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autocad
• Knowledge in generating coordinated drawings
• Knowledge in generating spool drawings for fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership and urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Trimble Sysque and Total Station layout
• Autodesk Point-Cloud 3D scanning
• Knowledge of Plumbing/Pipefitting or Sheet Metal trades
• General understanding of the construction process
• Construction site experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a BIM professional
• College Level or Trade School CAD/Revit courses
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience
• Open to Continuing Education

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at
• Periodic travel to multiple job locations
• May be subjected to inclement weather and hazardous working conditions
