As a part of the Management team, the Billing & CSS Coordinator performs billing and billing-related administrative functions. The incumbent will responsible for completing the monthly billing and client/insurance analysis, and assist with special projects.
- Clinical Support Specialist Coordinator oversees the administrative team who provides clinician support
- Facilities weekly CSS & BCBA virtual meetings
- Creates and Collects employee timesheets to verify accurate billing to insurance payers
- Accounts receivable with emphasis on customer billing and collections
- Work in multiple systems to prepare invoices monthly in a time sensitive environment
- Review contracts to setup one-time, recurring fees and transaction pricing models
- Process client inquiries and requests in a timely and cooperative manner
- Works closely with sales and various departments to complete billing accurately
- Assist with insurance requests and audits
- Reconciles Account Discrepancies
- Creates new client files
- Monitors clinician caseload volumes and alerts BCBA as needed
- Monitors supervision logs and caseload volumes
- Maintains and updates client billing records
- Various projects and analysis reporting in weekly team meetings
- Processes weekly cycle invoices, paper billing (Must visit office 1x/week)
- Prompts clinicians to submit reauthorizations prior to expiration
- Oversight of company faxes and transmission results
- Reports weekly on billing and claims owed
Qualifications
- College degree preferred or 3-5 years of medical accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Intermediate Excel and above average computer skills
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Change management and flexibility a must
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Tenacious with billing collections
