Make sure to include both the job title and location of the job if you email me directly. *** Permanent, full-time job ( direct hire ) offering W2 salary with full benefits and relocation assistance *** Job location: on site in Pittsburgh, PA ( West Mifflin ) - no remote work, must be local or willing to relocate Bid Manager : - Coordinate internal activities to identify and understand Customer's needs, promote the Company and its products lines, coordinate internal activities to influence Customer's specifications - Manage the tender budget according to Tender Costs Authorization Process and bid structure - Propose the offered solution - Work together with other Bid Managers, Platform(s) and sub-system / product strategy owners on assigned sub-system solution - Answer to the RFQ for the assigned scope - Interface with bid-level teams (in charge of overall architecture and integration) and other Bid Sub-System teams, proposing global optimizations - Manage QCD ( quality cost delivery) optimization and obtain clear commitments from different actors - Identify, analyze, and evaluate QCD gaps & manage the QCD review for assigned sub-system - Define interfaces and allocate the cost targets between actors - Consolidate commitments (supported by Bid Cost Manager) - Prepare risks & opportunities reviews, organize risks reviews, and create a mitigation plan - Prepare the documentation necessary to submit to Customer - Keep records of all documentation produced for tender preparation (RFP, Q&A, Presentations, letters, contract …) and traceability until contract signature (Tender Logbook) - Upon request of Tender Leader and Overall Bid Manager, participate to the contract negotiations for assigned sub-system - Contribute to ROE/REX ( Return of Experience ) analysis in liaison with Tender Leader and Market Pricing & Strategy Leader Qualifications : - BS or MS degree - Hands on experience with bid management ( previous experience as a bid manager or in a similar roles ) - Experience in costing & planning ( cost consolidation and project scheduling tools), risk management, legal aspects (obligations, penalties), project management, finance aspects of bids & tenders process - Ability to produce the tender deliverables within a limited time period and under potentially stressful conditions Please send me your details (resume, work authorization status, current location, availability and compensation expectations) directly to: denis.potapenko@systemone.com for an immediate consideration.
