RN Behavioral Health Per Diem Days Position Summary

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Complies with the terms of the RN PRN Commitment Agreement for Tier I: Hospital Based (Unit or Central Resource Team), 1 shift per 4 week schedule, no holiday or weekend requirements, able to work within one designated cluster.

THE RN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PER DIEM DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS).

EDUCATION
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: Two (2) years of acute care clinical experience.
