Job description

Starting Rate: $17.80/ hour

90 day increase: $18.50/ hour

This is a tipped position. Tips average $400- $800 per pay period

As the barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked. Being a barista offers you a community of passionate coffee lovers and frequent opportunities for continued learning.

Please note: In order to create a safe, productive work environment, we are requiring all employees who will be onsite to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines. Prior to coming into our hotel, employees will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated. At onboarding employees must show proof of vaccination status.

Essential Job Functions

  • Take coffee, beverage and food orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
  • Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas.
  • Ensure that appliances are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
  • Stock and maintain work areas.
  • Take orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
  • Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
