Flowerboy Project in Venice, CA is looking to add a new team member with barista experience. We are a boutique concept store, floral design studio, and espresso bar, curating and creating unique products and floral arrangements.

Flowerboy Project is a dynamic space, and we are seeking team members who are friendly, professional, and can efficiently share responsibility with teammates and help out wherever needed. We are a small and growing company, continuously experimenting with our floral, retail, and coffee offerings actively expanding into the eCommerce and web3 space, and developing new products; we are seeking team members who are enthusiastic about joining our company and supporting our growth.

Responsibilities

*Prepare espresso and tea drinks that meet quality standards at an efficient pace and in accordance with customer needs *Bring a warm and energetic disposition to all customer engagements, responding to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner *Give close attention to side work, maintaining a clean and tidy work area, including BOH equipment and surfaces *Properly handle and maintain all equipment *Follow all applicable health and safety guidelines *Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures *Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu offerings, as well as the Flowerboy Project Brand and its' offerings *Willingness to assist team members with their responsibilities when needed

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has:

*Proven working experience as a barista, with a good understanding of specialty coffee and willingness to continue learning *A strong sense of personal accountability, professionalism, and integrity *The ability to maintain a positive work environment through their attitude, leadership, and motivation. *Availability to work 4 shifts per week from 7:30am - 4pm, especially Sundays

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.04 - $20.00/hour.
