Job Summary:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Senior Food & Beverage Manager and Events Manager, the Banquet Manager is responsible for supervising and assisting with the execution of all private parties, club functions and regular operations and additionally booking and assisting in developing member and club events under the guidance of the Events Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee set up and break down for events.

Hold pre shift meetings with event staff, discussing event timeline and tasks.

Lead event team to create a great experience for members and guests throughout the course of the event.

Oversee events to ensure that all Food Services are presented and served correctly and noting any special requests & instructions.

Work with Food & Beverage Managers on staffing for events.

Under the guidance of the Events Manager, works with members and guests to plan events, ensuring that all members booking events are aware of Club policies and procedures in advance of booking event.

Under the guidance of the Events Manager, assist in developing and planning member Club Events.

Complete end of shift reports, compile beverage consumption sheets and all other tasks as it related to completing them event.

Under the guidance of the Events Manager, assist with properly billing events.
Education and Experience:

Basic Food & Beverage Service knowledge required

Resort or Private Club Experience Preferred

Experience managing events preferred
