Job Description:
The Certified Auto Technician performs vehicle repairs without oversight. Additional responsibilities include preventive maintenance, and completing appropriate paperwork and reports. Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment. Must have the ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, scan tools, tire changing, and alignment machines. Follow all company service and safety procedures. Maintain a safe and clean environment. All employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background screen.

This position is in a union environment and the scheduling is subject to shift bid.

This position will be based at Kailua Kona Airport, 73 104 Aulepe St., Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. Hertz offers a shuttle from our Hilo Airport location, 103 Kekuanaoa St, Hilo, HI 96720, for employees if needed.
