JOB DESCRIPTION

Good Brothers is an award-winning Dodge and Ram dealership that has been a fixture in the region for the last 25 years and is one of the top new Dodge and Ram car dealers in New England. The Good family has been in the automobile business for nearly 100 years and is currently operating under 3rdgeneration ownership.

Good Brothers is currently looking for a seasoned service manager to lead our service operations. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
  • Interview, hire, train and manage service technicians and service advisors
  • Promote and support service technician career development
  • Schedule daily service technicians work load
  • Manage day-to-day activities of those delegated to him/her
  • Assist in preparing and administrating an annual budget for the service department
  • Prioritize and monitor all service orders and ensure the prooper charging of time and parts
  • Maintain a safe, efficient and secure department.
  • Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
  • Provide support for owner inquiries to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
  • Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups
  • Promote additional services that will benefit the customer
  • Demonstrate good judgment and diligence in investigating problems.
  • Perform all duties in an independent manner with minimum supervision.
  • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and situation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Five years’ experience managing a service department in a dealership environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
