We are seeking a skilled automotive painter to join the Page Cusomts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting custom cars to the highest quality standards. The automotive painter will work closely with our design team and clients to ensure that our custom builds look as great as they perform. Applicants must have prior experience with classic cars, custom cars, or restorations. We are not looking for production painters. Compensation will be determined by skill, experience, and relevent education or training.
Applicants must possess the following skills:
- Preppring bare metal vehicles for primer
- Application and hand block sanding of body filler
- Body panel alignment and panel gapping
- Applying or experience with polyester primers
- Light fiberglass work
- Hand block sanding vehicles in primer in preparation for paint
- General knowledge and experience with classic cars to assemble and disassemble panels during the bodywork process
- Application of solvent base coats and urethane clearcoats
- Color sanding and buffing the a show quality level
- Final detailing of high-end paint work and vehicles
Our position is full time (Monday - Thursday 7AM-6PM) no weekends!
