Job Description

Picking, loading, and delivering parts to wholesale customers is a great way to
learn about all aspects of the auto parts business. Most automotive parts
professionals start out as parts delivery drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with parts staff to determine delivery schedule and priorities for the
  day.
• Load the delivery vehicle with parts in an efficient, orderly manner.
• Organize paperwork and ensure that it matches what is set up for delivery.
• Reconcile money received with invoices and parts delivered.
• Handle customer returns in a respectful organized manner, according to
  company and department policies and guidelines.
• Whenever possible, develop new business.
  

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State driver's license and a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior professional driving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to use computers and calculators.
• Desire to keep repair shop customers happy with fast, efficient service.
• Have the ability to learn automotive computers and parts numbering systems.
• Some knowledge and interest in cars.
• Neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
