Associate Technical Research Analyst

Location: Government Site work IVO Virginia Beach, VA. Remote work authorization rests with Government client.

Associate Technical Research Analyst Job Description – Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Position Designation: Non-Critical Sensitive/IT-II
• Plans and evaluates complex existing network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels.
• Provides highly skilled technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture.
• Develops technical standards and interface applications, identifies and evaluates new products, and provides resolution for network problems.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Skill Level II: Master level degree in an International Technology Transfer or a related field
• Three (3) years of experience in technology transfer or a related field, plus at least one year of research experience in science or engineering, which may have been a research assistantship while in collegiate education, or

• A bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of experience in technology transfer or a related field and at least an internship or semester or research experience, or
• A bachelor's degree and at least four (4) years of relevant experience in business.
• Experience in development of ontologies using Ontology-enabled database management systems.

U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret (or higher) Security Clearance required

Location: Virginia Beach, VA or surrounding area or be willing to relocate to Virginia Beach, VA, and surrounding area.

Travel: Approximately 10%
