Job Title: Associate Scientist I

Location: Scarborough, ME

Type: Contract - 12 Months

Pay: $30.00/hr

We are seeking an Associate Scientist I for a very important client.

Support Reagent manufacturing. Conduct investigations on internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to Reagents. Assist in developing/ improving Reagent manufacturing processes and/or products. Major Responsibilities: Design experiments and testing schemes, analyze data, write protocols and reports and present results to a cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Must demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills and be a team player. Must possess a BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with at least one to two years of relevant experience. Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits a plus. Familiar with process and test method validations. Excellent communication skills. Shall be able to perform under pressure to meet project deadlines.

BA degree required (any life science degree). Entry level but looking for some lab skills (see attachment). Lab skills- molecular, knowing measurements, biology lab MA candidates overqualified but would be considered. Design control experience, Some training in lab and writing documents, entering into design control to look at several products/performance. Some writing, reading, research. Working with very diverse group. Exposed to lots of opportunities to learn more.

PCR or DNA/RNA extractions experience is required.J
