An Ameriprise Private Wealth Practice is seeking a licensed Associate Financial Advisor to join our innovative and dynamic team. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to families, individuals, and small organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.

Job Purpose:

• Work with the team to service our existing clients and prospect for new clients. This role has potential for growth within the practice.

Responsibilities:

• Service a selection of the advisor’s clients
• Case analysis
• Prepping financial planning recommendations
• Running hypothetical illustrations
• Conduct client meetings and reviews
• Review financial documents and statements
• Answer client questions and calls as needed
• Prepare client correspondence
• Complete trades and transactions
• Hosting and attending client events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fully licensed (Series 7, 66, and Life/Health license), have CFP or be willing to get CFP
• 2+ years of experience as an advisor
• Pleasant, professional, and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong team player
• Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
• Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
• Highly proficient with in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
• Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
• Desire to grow and learn within the practice

Salary/Benefits:

• $65K+ based on experience
