Associate Director, Field Effectiveness & Enablement

Job Description:
Associate Director, Field Effectiveness & Enablement is responsible for the ongoing process of improving field force productivity and ability to effectively communicate with customers. This position oversees multiple aspects critical to field force enablement functions including field communication, field portals, licensure, credentialing, and also supporting commercial effectiveness work. This individual will work closely with the sales and operations teams, as well as cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders with a primary goal of seamlessly supporting field teams. This individual will have a focus on developing and implementing initiatives and operational processes to increase field effectiveness. This position reports to the Senior Director, Sales Operations.
This position is onsite at our Foster City, CA or Morris Plains, NJ offices.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the creation, development and execution of engaging communication initiatives that align with business objectives to improve field effectiveness
  • Manage and evlolve G.Field (field SharePoint) capabilities to provide solutions for Sales Operations & cross-functional business partners, maximizing G.Field as a key communication channel for the field
  • Communicate key operations information including maintaining and updating Field Operations Guidelines and conveying information via new hire on-boardings, regional trainer meetings and other forums.
  • Support field enablement functions including RxVantage, credentialing, licensing and exhibit portal
  • Collaborates with Sr. Director on execution of sales effectiveness studies
  • Manage execution and maintenance of field coaching platform
  • Lead annual goals and objectives process in partnership with Sales leadership, Human Resources, and Business Conduct
  • Lead ad-hoc strategic projects in partnership with Corporate IT to support change management & implementation by the field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong project management skills to execute projects with tight deadlines: strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to efficiently & productively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with and coordinate demands from multiple internal customers
  • Ability to critically analyze and objectively define problems to deliver solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and service levels
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.) is required
  • Clear history of exercising sound business judgment and clear decision-making

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, preferably in pharmaceutical or medical devices
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in related field required
