Zurich Apprenticeship Program

The first in our industry to be certified by the U.S. Department of Labor

Zurich is starting to accept resumes for our 2023 Associate Degree Apprenticeship Program located in Schaumburg, Illinois, Chicago, Atlanta, New York City, and Overland Park, Kansas. Roles will also be offered in select areas for our Crop Claims business in Kentucky, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Tennessee. The program is scheduled to start in August 2023, but don’t hesitate to apply now for early consideration.

Our innovative General Insurance and IT Apprenticeship Programs allows participants to simultaneously gain the education and the experience to launch a rewarding career in commercial insurance, information technology or cybersecurity.

Zurich’s initiative is to develop a new generation of workers to help the U.S. succeed in the 21st century economy.

The two-year program offered in: Chicago, IL combines targeted Online coursework leading to an AAS in Marketing and Management with focused classes in Insurance at Harold Washington College in Chicago, IL with relevant work rotations at Zurich's Chicago office.

Apprentices who successfully complete this two-year program will:

• Work in a paid, benefit-eligible full-time position at Zurich
• Earn a tuition-free Associate in Applied Science degree in: Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing and Management, Information Technology, or Agriculture Business, dependent on location and program
• Receive a Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship
• Possess credentials and skills for today’s ever-changing marketplace

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Professional work experience not required
• Must be enrolled and validated as college ready by Harold Washington College Admissions. You will be redirected to the Harold Washington College if you do not meet this qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
