We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our residents. You will work closely with other departments to coordinate care and services, and will play a key role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the nursing department and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed
• Develop and implement care plans for each resident, working closely with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Ensure that all nursing staff are properly trained and up-to-date on all necessary certifications and licensure
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of all nursing staff, providing coaching and feedback as needed
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all residents, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Manage the budget for the nursing department, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our residents, including dietary, activities, and maintenance
• Participate in the development of resident care plans and assessments, ensuring that each resident's needs and preferences are taken into account
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care and assisted living, including but not limited to infection control, medication management, and resident rights

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role in a long-term care or assisted living facility (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care and assisted living
• COVID-19 Vaccination NOT REQUIRED for employment
