260 Sample Sale is a family owned & operated business headquartered in NYC. We have 6 brick & mortar retail stores located in NYC, Beverly Hills, and Miami. 260 hosts week-long private & public sample sales for top brands in apparel, accessories and beauty, including: Marc Jacobs, Aquazurra, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, SoulCycle, Reformation, J Crew, NEST Fragrances, & more!

What’s your Role:

You are expected to effectively lead a sales team of 10+ associates. The Retail Assistant Manager will ensure that the sales team deliver the highest level of customer service. Here at 260 Sample Sale we encourage creativity and believe in taking initiative to act as a personal stylist if needed. It is your number one priority to guide and train team members on a daily/weekly basis and provide the staff with thorough brand knowledge to generate sales.

What to Expect:

• Perform store opening and closing procedures including counting registers and completing bank deposits
• Track performance of the team (best sellers, greeters, floor allocation) and make necessary adjustments in order to drive sales efficiently
• Maintain visual store appearance in accordance with company Policies and Procedures
• Ensure proper presentation, organization, and replenishment of merchandise
• Provide an outstanding customer service experience and coach team to excel with the same standards
• Demonstrate dedication and professionalism while engaging with the team, customers and brand clients
• Must be available to work one weekend day.
• Oversee employee responsibilities and positions for the day.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Coordinate with the store manager to cover their day off.
• Weekly Sales report
• Assist with staff training.
• Support stock with weekly deliveries and pickups.
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be determined by 260 LA management from time to time (responsibilities not listed on this job description may be added by management based on the needs of the business).

• High School Diploma Required
• At least 3+ years of retail experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail Key Holder: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
• Retail sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person, may be asked to work in between two locations. Primarily in Beverly Hills, the other in Downtown LA.
