Summary: This position consists of combined office and field responsibilities. The office responsibilities include data entry of work into Company tracking systems. Maintaining and organizing hard copy back up to all work performed, various additional clerical functions as needed. The field responsibilities include use of a company vehicle to install “No Parking” signs, confirm miss utility markings are complete, & schedule work with customers. Delivering items to jobsite to crews as needed.

Division: MD Beltsville Hours: Full time 7:00 – 3:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

• Working with third-party vendors to schedule them as required for each jobsite.
• Scheduling work with customers both in person and via phone/email.
• Scanning and emailing, as necessary.
• Driving to job sites prior to crews working to hang “No Parking” signs and confirm Miss Utility locates are complete.
• Driving additional tools or materials to job site if needed.
• Traveling to between Skoda facility, vendors and jobsites to drop off or pick up paperwork / tools / materials as needed.
• Assisting in the Skoda “yard” to put away tools / materials when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Experience in the Natural Gas industry a plus but not required

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Skoda Contracting is a New Jersey based utility contractor servicing natural gas distribution companies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. Skoda has been an established prime gas contractor for over 50 years and is currently expanding. Some of our clients are AGL Resources, UGI, PSE&G, and Washington Gas. Our services include but are not limited to: gas pipeline installation, pipe replacement, gas meter installation, milling and paving, construction workeragement, corrosion control/cathodic protection, and horizontal directional drilling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
