As an Assistant Project Manager with the S&H team, you will assume a critical role that will allow you to demonstrate the same commitment to customers, subcontractors, and your team members that has made S&H what it is today.

So, what does the role of Assistant Project Manager look like?

  • Reports to Field Director - great opportunity for learning and mentoring! Contribute to all phases of construction from preconstruction through project close out.
  • Assist with permit applications
  • Open/lock job sites as necessary.
  • Create and maintain punch lists.
  • Attend bi-weekly jobsite meetings and create meeting minutes.
  • Work with Project Manager (PM) to create and maintain Gantt charts schedules and financial reports.
  • Work with PM to create Friday recap emails.
  • Maintain communication with clients as directed by the PM.
  • Check in daily with the PM on all assigned projects for basic daily debrief and updates.
  • Organize subcontractor bids.
  • Order materials, contact subcontractors, perform takeoffs as directed by the PM.
  • Work with the PM to identify any changes in scope/budget in a timely way.
