Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Shipping and Receiving to join our Warehouse Operations Team located in Orangeburg, NY.


The role:

You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all inbound and outbound activities on a daily basis for the Clarins brand as well as our 3PL’s in conjunction with the Department Manager. You will report to the Senior Manager of Shipping and Receiving.


What you’ll do:

By fulfilling the main mission of this role, you will contribute to all of the 5 pillars of the Group strategy: people-centric, brand-builder, consumer-obsessed, digitally minded, and committed to responsible beauty.

  • Assist the department manager with the planning of work schedules and assignment of duties to maintain adequate staff for the effective performance of activities and respond to fluctuating business needs
  • Assist with the capture of weight and volume of all new items, as well as provide any cross training to the staff when needed
  • Direct the operations of the assigned team to achieve all objectives, conduct effective inter-department communication
  • Along with the team, maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area, ensure Associates follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Assist to maintain all the necessary daily reports , file all required documents

You have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations/Organizational Management, or similar major preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in remaining Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to read, write and speak English required
  • Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) highly preferred
  • Must be willing to be trained in other departments to support as needed
