As the Assistant Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements.
This role is 100% in office near Providence, RI
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy. Apply quantitative methods to drive and support management decisions.
- Oversee daily and weekly accounting activities like accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, payroll, including conducting a high-level review of each.
- Insures timelines and accuracy of month, quarter, and year end closings.
- Assists with coordination of external audits of company’s accounts both domestic and international
- Works with Controller to oversee all accounting, knowledge of SOX compliance is preferred.
- Responsible for maintaining strong and effective internal controls processes.
- Assist with daily Cash Management including forecasting, flow of funds between entities and related banks, domestic and international wire and ach processing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
