Our Building Services division is a rapidly growing General Contracting firm, with multiple projects throughout Massachusetts. We are seeking a motivated, team player to join our team as Assistant Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will serve as a key member of our Construction Management Team, reporting directly to the Vice President, Building Services.

Typical Duties of an Assistant Construction Project Manager:

  • Monitor activities of subcontractors on the job site
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed estimates
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of construction projects
  • Attendance of project meetings and preparation of meeting notes
  • Preparation of permit applications
  • Track and manage project submittals and changes
  • Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
  • Assist with estimation and bidding process
  • Create and oversee punch list completion
  • Preparation of close-out documents
  • Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3+ years construction experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Project Management, or related field is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions completing a variety of tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work on job sites, when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
