National Park College currently has an opening for a Part-Time Apprenticeship Specialist in the Community and Corporate Training Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers (internal and external) that call or visit the Community & Corporate Training Center
  • Assist callers with any questions about apprenticeship programs
  • Assist apprentices with enrollment paperwork
  • Register apprentices in the RAPIDS database
  • Build and update apprenticeship classes in Student Manager database
  • Create reports from database program as needed
  • Maintain spreadsheet for attendance and work-related documentation
  • Provide assistance to the program instructors
  • Assist/coordinate orientation sessions and outreach events
  • General office duties and tasks are required
  • Other duties as needed
Required skills/abilities:
  • Extraordinary customer service skills in person, in writing, and over the phone
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must demonstrate professionalism when dealing with corporate clients and students
  • Experience coordinating events preferred
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel spreadsheets
  • Database experience preferred – strong desire to quickly learn new database system
  • Experience with MS Word, Publisher, and Power Point
  • A strong desire to learn and be part of a fast-paced team
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree preferred but not required for a highly qualified candidate
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting
  • Extensive walking
  • Prolonged screen time
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
