Job Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced inside salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function, you will develop engineered solutions and valve quotations for customers mainly in the midstream oil and gas industry.

You will act as a product quotation specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, order entry, engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Prepare quotations for mid-stream oil and gas, pipeline customers
• Evaluate customer inquiries, generation of solution proposals
• Sizing of valves and actuators
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers
• Cost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Commerical and technical negotiations
• Contract review
• Order receipt, review, and order transfer to the manufacturing plant
• And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience as an Applications Engineer, Quotation Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Technical sales, Engineer etc.
• Control valve or on/off valve experience preferred
• Valve automation experience preferred
• Midstream oil & gas industry application knowledge
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking
• Proficient with common MS Office applications
• BS or BA Degree in a relevant technical or engineering field preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant or related experience
