NOW HIRING APPLIANCE SALES SPECIALISTS.
Full Time Positions Immediately Available. Note: this is a salaried position with a base pay of $30,000/year + unlimited commission + SPIFFs with the potential to earn over $200,000/year. Bonuses available with Extended Warranty add-ons as well! Minimum 45hrs/week required. (Top tier earners average 60+hrs/week based on industry analytics.)
Previous experience selling appliances preferred, but not required. Experience in high pressure sales/close rates a plus. Previous sales/customer service experience is a must!
Appliance Advantage and Aspire Kitchens & Design, Southern Maine's Most Consistent Appliance Retailer is searching for qualified Sales Specialists to fill positions in our Kennebunk, ME location.

Whether it be a random walk-in customer, a builder who is remodeling a kitchen for a client, or a customer who just had a service call needing to replace an old unit, we offer them all refreshments and much more as we want all of our client's to know they are valued and not just a number to us!
The Sales Specialist has the primary responsibility to maximize sales volume by growing existing business, developing new business and providing the best possible customer service all while enhancing the company's mission to offer the highest quality and service standards in the industry!
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Support and provide superior service in our showroom;
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process;
- Educate customers on the selection process in order to create the kitchen and/or laundry of their dreams;
- Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the business;
- Enhance the customer shopping experience by providing an exciting and memorable service interaction.
- Follow-up with an e-mail to those clients who have submitted a request for a quote online.
- Follow-up on any requests the Sales Director forwards, whether it be for service information, color-matching or after-sale usage.
Skills and Qualifications in order to make $95,000+
- Previous retail experience is required; luxury retail experience is a plus;
- Energetic, friendly, motivated;
- Independent decision maker with the ability to self-manage;
- Strong eye for detail & organizational skills;
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - written and verbal;
- Results-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations;
- Must possess a professional and courteous attitude and be able to quickly develop rapport with customers;
- Must possess and be able to demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills;
- Must be available to work Saturdays/Sundays
( Minimum 3 Years of retail sales experience required.)
*Salary $30,000 (Minimum 45 hrs. worked)
*Commission paid out at end of month (% of gross profit)
*Sales Performance Incentives (SPIFFs): bonuses paid out directly from manufacturers. $0-$40,000/year. (Must be filed individually, and on personal time)
*Bonuses available for Extended Warranty sales (5yr)
