Your Future Team
Hightower's Advisor Engagement Team is comprised of professionals with consulting and practice management experience, focused on supporting the growth and strategic plans across our partner firms. The Manager/Director serves as an important resource to our firms, assessing areas of opportunity, building strategies for improvement, and partnering with the firms on implementation.
What You'll Do
A successful Manager/Director has a broad knowledge of wealth management advisory practices. You will provide solutions and recommendations to support growth. Each team member must have investment advisory knowledge encompassing aspects of a registered investment advisory practice. We have a very specific focus on growth tactics and supporting the implementation of strategies to support organic growth and want to bring on a team member who is passionate about supporting firms on their growth journey.
- Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements – Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter
- Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
- Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience
- Support strategic consulting engagements in partnership with our advisory businesses (strategy, growth plans, client experience, and operations) by applying Hightower's best practices and consulting modules
- Assess areas of opportunity within Advisory Businesses and partner with firms on the strategy to address gaps and areas of opportunity
- Create recommendations and partner in developing relevant solutions with attention to the practice's strategic goals
- Help implement detailed business and relationship governance plans to guide all engagements and track the impact of efforts
- Provide guidance and direction for solutions or support needs across Hightower eco-system
- Experience as a practice management consultant or equivalent (5+ years) experience within the wealth management industry
- Knowledge of diverse practice management best practices including strategy, growth, human capital, operations
- Familiarity with a wide selection of financial services management systems and investment advisory technology platforms
- Experience leading group discussions and presenting to an audience, experience coaching individuals and small groups
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
- Advisory marketplace knowledge, and experience working with RIAs
- Microsoft Office (Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Team player with the desire to help grow partner firms. Not afraid to get into the weeds and roll-up sleeves mentality.
