ADMINISTRATIVE & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Available starting January 2023
Part-time ranging from 10 (min) to 20 (max) hours per week
This is an Independent Contractor, remote position. East coast preferred, but not required.
Position Summary
The Administrative and Executive Assistant position is an integral part of the Trip
Independent team. Responsible for the administrative management of the business this position also includes the important task of assisting the CEO with special projects and basic administrative tasks.

Administrative Duties
Reports to CEO, and includes task that include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all administrative tasks including subscriptions, inter-company communications, mail organization and management of company files unrelated to company finances.
- Works with Operations Director and CEO to develop SOP strategies for the company
- Assists with general HR admin including client invoicing and communications.
- Assists with tracking and set up of company tech, onboarding new employees and contractors with company email and other communication accounts.
- Takes meeting minutes/notes at weekly team meetings
- Answers office phone, forwards messages for team members .
Executive Assistant
Reports to CEO and includes tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Schedules meetings
- Arranges travel
- Research and special projects as requested www.tripindependent.com
Other Responsibilities
- Acts as a knowledgeable and collaborative representative of Trip Independent to clients and professional associations.
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years experience in concierge or travel related services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exercise discretion when managing sensitive, confidential material
- Project management experience
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity operating on various platforms (i.e.
Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, Monday)
- Knowledge of Travefy, Amadeus, IATA and ARC a plus
- Comfortable working in a startup environment
- General office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexible hours as needed www.tripindependent.com
