Position Overview: Support the daily operations of the distribution center. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general office work, computer data entry, reporting, paperwork accuracy verification, production, performance, employee, and finance related data entry and tracking, mail sorting, etc.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (must be flexible to work overtime and occasional weekends)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint on regular basis.
- Assist with planning and coordinating presentations and disseminating information.
- Researching and compiling various production, performance, employee, or finance related data.
- Assist with planning distribution center events, off-site meetings, and making necessary arrangements.
- Attend meetings and record minutes, as needed.
- Work with payroll on weekly verification for all departments. Enter PTO, attendance, bonus pay, enter approved timesheets, enter driver (for shuttle and backhaul) pay.
- Create attendance warnings in ADP
- Order office supplies
- Assess the urgency and importance of situations and take appropriate action. Handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Work independently and within a team on special events and/or ongoing projects.
- Assure proper filing of business documents and/or employee information.
- Assists with incoming calls that may come in during scheduled shift.
- Processing employee purchase orders
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the senior leadership team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Payroll systems).
- Proficient in AS400, Manhattan, RoadNet, ADP, Kronos, WorkDay. PeopleNet and Ryder Guide a plus.
- Strong Excel and high-volume Data Entry experience
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Critical thinking skills, and the ability to anticipate what needs to be done and executes accordingly with a sense of urgency.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced office environment
